Well, the Wings are busy choking again. I'm not surprised... well, not very.
Friday, they need to have Stewart scratched and Hasek as a backup, otherwise they'll be golfing very soon.

As is entirely typical, you're far too pessimistic.
Its true that putting Osgood in is a very good thing. Hasek has been shaky and just doesn't seem prepared to do it right now. We may need him later and I suspect that after some sitting time he will be much better. But Ozzie is ready to go and looked great last night.
Stuart definitely has been shaky, but still has been creating chances quite a bit. I agree he should play less, but don't see quite the apocalypse you do.
More to the point, though, its hardly choking when you've one the two games in your arena, and the other team has won the two in theirs. Especially when you've got home ice advantage and are the best home team in the league. Nashville plays very well against us, and I expected them to take at least one of these. And the pressure they put on Ellis would have destroyed a goaltender who was even 1% less able. Despite not winning, the Wings played a terrific 3rd period in game 4, and if Ozzie can maintain his play, I think we will be just fine.
There are three more games, two of them at the Joe, and we're consistently outshooting them. I'm not even slightly worried yet (especially with the goaltending change happeneing last night).
So just turn that frown upside down, mister.
"As is entirely typical, you're far too pessimistic."
Stereotypical Optimist: "The glass is half-full."
Stereotypical Pessimist: "The glass is half-empty."
The Sarcastic Weasel: "An unattended open container of water, whatever the extent of its under utilization, is a breeding ground for mosquitoes that can spread malaria, yellow fever, and west nile virus... Also, I bet Shea Webber spit in it."
LOL, oui precisement.
